Use and maintenance tips

Thermal shock management: Enameled cast iron is a robust material but sensitive to sudden temperature variations. Never pour ice water or ice cubes onto the hot griddle, as this could crack or chip the protective enamel.

Recommended cleaning: After cooking, let the griddle cool down. Use a wooden or silicone spatula to scrape the largest residues into the grease collector. Then clean with hot water, a degreasing dish soap, and a soft sponge (non-abrasive side). Carefully wipe the griddle before closing the barbecue lid to prevent stagnant moisture.
