This universal original Sevylor pressure gauge is an essential official control accessory to guarantee the safety, performance, and longevity of your inflatable boat. It allows you to instantly and accurately measure the air pressure inside the different chambers (side tubes and floor) during inflation.

Under-inflation impairs glide and makes the kayak unstable, while over-inflation can irreversibly deform the PVC or burst the seams, especially under the effect of heat and sun. This pressure gauge helps you precisely reach the nominal pressure recommended by the manufacturer.

Control method: Connect the pressure gauge directly to the valve during or just after inflation. Apply slight pressure to depress the valve's detent and read the stabilized value on the dial.

Caution with the sun: Air expands greatly under the effect of heat. If your kayak remains exposed to the sun on the beach during a break, remember to check the pressure with the pressure gauge and release some air if the value exceeds the original recommendations.
