This original Campingaz warming rack (also known as a hinged rack or keep-warm rack) is an official spare part designed specifically for large gas barbecues in the 4 Series range. Located high up, just above the main cooking surface, this raised rack is an essential accessory for optimising space management in your barbecue.
It serves two essential functions:
-
Keeping warm: It allows you to store already cooked food (sausages, merguez, skewers, pieces of meat) away from direct heat so that they remain hot and juicy without continuing to burn while the rest of the meal finishes cooking.
-
Simmering or slow cooking: Thanks to its raised position relative to the burners, it benefits from gentle convection heat (when the lid is closed), ideal for slowly cooking delicate foods (vegetables, fish en papillote) or gently grilling burger buns.
Main features
-
Certified original part: Designed by Campingaz according to the exact dimensions of the firebox of 4-burner models, ensuring stable tilting or seating without the risk of food falling.
-
High-quality chromed or enamelled steel: Material selected for its robustness against high temperatures and its resistance to corrosion caused by humidity and cooking fats.
-
Smooth articulation system: Designed to anchor into the lateral fixings provided for this purpose, allowing the rack to move back or adapt automatically when the lid is opened and closed (depending on your model's fixing system).
Compatible devices
This raised rack is compatible with almost all of the brand's 4-burner barbecues, including:
-
Campingaz 4 Series Classic (Classic L, Classic LS, Classic LX, Classic EXS, Plus, etc.)
-
Campingaz 4 Series Woody (Woody L, Woody LX, etc.)
-
Campingaz 4 Series Master (Master L, Master LX, etc.)
-
Please note: This part is sized for the specific width of the 4 Series firebox. It is too wide for the 2 Series or 3 Series ranges.
Usage and maintenance tips
Do not overload: The warming rack is designed to support light foods or already cooked items. Avoid placing very heavy cast iron dishes or massive uncut pieces of meat on it, which could bend the metal structure or obstruct the lid closing mechanism.
Clean after each session: Grease vapours tend to condense on the upper parts of the barbecue. After cooking, take advantage of the fact that the rack is still warm to use a brass brush or a non-abrasive sponge to remove soot deposits. Clean regularly with hot water and degreasing dish soap to prevent the accumulation of carbonised residues.
