The original Campingaz heat diffuser is an official aluminized steel spare part, specially designed to protect the gas barbecue burners in the 3 Series and 4 Series ranges. Positioned directly above the burner tubes and below the cooking grates, this tent-shaped component plays a crucial role in the proper functioning of your appliance.
This diffuser performs three major functions:
-
Burner protection: It prevents grease, cooking juices, and marinades from falling directly onto the flames or clogging the burner orifices, thus significantly extending their lifespan.
-
Anti-flare-up: By channeling and instantly evaporating grease drips, it prevents sudden flare-ups that could char your food.
-
Even distribution: Its metallic geometry helps capture direct heat from the burner to redistribute it evenly across the entire cooking grate surface, thereby eliminating cold spots.
Key features
-
Certified original part: Designed by Campingaz according to exact factory dimensions and tolerances to fit stably and securely in the firebox.
-
Robust aluminized steel: Material selected for its high resistance to repeated thermal shocks and the acidic aggression of hot grease.
-
Flavor enhancement: The vaporization of cooking juices on the hot metal creates an aromatic smoke that gives food the authentic barbecue taste.
Compatible appliances
This spare part is compatible with a very wide selection of the brand's 3 and 4-burner barbecues (Classic, Woody, Master, Select generations, etc.):

Usage and maintenance tips
Positioning: The diffusers simply sit in the firebox on the notches provided for this purpose, without tools. Make sure they are well centered above each burner before lighting the barbecue.
Periodic cleaning: To avoid excessive accumulation of carbonized grease that could eventually ignite, regularly clean your diffusers. After the appliance has completely cooled down, remove them and scrape off deposits with a barbecue brush or a wooden spatula. If necessary, wash them with warm water and degreasing dish soap (avoid harsh oven cleaners that can damage the aluminized coating). Dry them thoroughly before putting them back in place.
