The original Campingaz firebox support frame is an official structural spare part, specially designed for the upper frame of the 3 Series Woody LX gas barbecues. This key component serves as an essential intermediate frame: it provides a rigid link between the cast iron/steel firebox and the four uprights (wooden legs) that make up the appliance's trolley.

Subject to high thermal stresses (immediate proximity to the cooking firebox) and chemical stresses (exposure to hot grease, acidic marinades, and outdoor humidity), the original frame may eventually deform or corrode after several seasons. Replacing it allows the barbecue to regain its perfect squareness, mechanical stability, and ensures the overall safety of the installation.

Assembly tips

Essential safety instructions: Before starting disassembly, always close the gas cylinder, disconnect the regulator, and remove the cylinder from the trolley. Let the appliance cool down completely and empty the firebox of its accessories (grates, griddle, heat diffusers).

Installation procedure: Replacing the frame requires complete removal of the firebox and disengagement of the trolley legs.

1. Carefully note the position of each screw during disassembly (using the specific screw bag 5010001641 is recommended if your original hardware is corroded).

2. Attach the new frame to the wooden uprights of the trolley by hand-tightening the screws.

3. Carefully place the firebox back on its new support, ensuring not to pinch the gas lines or the piezoelectric ignition system cables.

4. Progressively and cross-tighten all screws to ensure the perfect geometry of the barbecue.
